ABOUT TECHPATHBASE

Guidance with context, not assumptions

Meet Techpathbase, a Munich consultation practice supporting employed professionals through German work and family residence procedures.

Techpathbase began after years of seeing internationally hired professionals manage demanding jobs while piecing together family-reunification instructions from consulates, municipal offices, employers and informal groups. The missing piece was often not another checklist, but someone who could place each requirement in the context of one household.

Our role

We provide structured, English-language consultations on the practical preparation surrounding employment residence and family reunification in Germany. Our work is led from Munich by advisers experienced in relocation case coordination, German administrative research and cross-border document preparation.

We read official requirements carefully, distinguish confirmed facts from questions, and make the responsible authority visible at every stage. We do not present an individual officer’s practice as a universal German rule.

Principles we work by

Specific before general. Your residence-title wording, family relationship, nationality and municipality matter more than a generic online list.

No promise of approval. Decisions belong to German missions and authorities. If a question calls for legal interpretation or representation, we say so and direct you toward a qualified lawyer.

Less sensitive data. An initial enquiry needs context, not passport numbers or document scans. We request only what is useful for the agreed work.

A plan you can use yourself. The purpose of a consultation is to help you understand the sequence, evidence and open questions—not make you dependent on continued support.

Our office is in central Munich, and most sessions are held by video for clients throughout Germany.
