This policy applies to paid consultations offered by Techpathbase. It does not cover products, shipping or subscription services, because we do not sell those.
Eligibility overview
A full refund is available if:
- you cancel a paid consultation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start and we have not begun paid document review;
- we cancel the appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative within 14 days;
- we cannot deliver the agreed scope because of a Techpathbase-side failure.
A partial refund may apply if preparation work has begun but the meeting has not yet taken place. Preparation already completed is deducted at the hourly research rate stated on the fees page.
Non-refundable items
The following are not refunded once completed or used:
- a consultation meeting that has taken place as agreed;
- a personal case map, checklist or readiness notes already delivered;
- document-review time already spent after you approved the file inventory;
- third-party costs you paid yourself, such as translations, courier fees, insurance applications or authority charges.
Rescheduling and no-shows
You may reschedule once free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Later or repeated changes may require a new booking. If you miss a confirmed appointment without notice, the fee is forfeited. We may, at our discretion, offer a shorter follow-up for half the original fee within 30 days.
Work already started
If you cancel after document review has started but before the call, we refund the remaining fee after deducting completed preparation. If the call has started, the consultation fee is generally non-refundable except where we materially fail to deliver the agreed agenda.
How to request a refund
Email info@techpathbase.digital with your name, invoice number, appointment date and reason. We respond within five working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original bank account within ten working days after we confirm the bank details.
Deposits and exceptions
We do not normally take deposits separate from the consultation fee. Where a larger readiness-check quote includes staged payment, unused later stages are refundable if cancelled before that stage begins. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
